Samuel Rodriguez is the lead pastor of New Season, one of America’s most influential megachurches according to Newsmax, and the president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, one of the world’s largest Christian organizations.
Rodriguez has been recognized by CNN, FOX News, Univision, and Telemundo as America’s most influential Latino/Hispanic faith leader and has been named one of the 40 Leaders Who Changed the World by Charisma Magazine and one of the Top 12 Latino Leaders by The Wall Street Journal—the only faith leader to receive this distinction. Additionally, he has been listed among the Top 100 Christian Leaders in America and was nominated as one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World. Rodriguez is also the recipient of the Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership Award presented by the Congress of Racial Equality and, according to Marie Arana’s book Latino Land, is one of the top Latino Christian Zionists in the world.
Rodriguez has advised Presidents Bush, Obama, and Trump. He is the first Hispanic American to have participated in two different Presidential inauguration ceremonies. In 2009, he read from the gospel of Saint Luke at President Barack Obama’s inaugural prayer service at St. John’s Episcopal Church and in 2017, on the Capitol steps before a global viewing audience, Rodriguez read and prayed from the gospel of Matthew, concluding with “in the name of Jesus”. In 2024, NBC described him as “one of the most influential figures in American politics today.”
He is the best-selling author of 12 books, including Be Light, Persevere with Power, Your Mess, God’s Miracle, and Fresh Oil, Holy Fire, New Wine. He is also an executive producer of three films, including BREAKTHROUGH and FLAMIN' HOT, both of which were nominated for Academy Awards for best original music.
As a societal architect and cultural reformer, Samuel Rodriguez’s mission is to glorify and magnify the name of Jesus.
JJ Vasquez is the lead pastor of Journey Church in Orlando, which has been recognized as one of the fastest growing churches in the nation. Their mission is straightforward: to create a place where Jesus is accessible to anyone—church for those who don’t go to church, for their neighbors and family, as well as the neighbors and family of everyone who calls Journey home. He and his wife, Liz, have been married since 2008 and have two amazing sons, Justice and Zane.
JJ Vasquez is a New York City native Florida transplant who has been travelling and preaching the gospel since he was 12 years old. His desire to bring others into a real relationship with Christ led him to co-found a discipleship school, Ignite, at the age of 19. At 22, he was elected the District Youth Director of the Florida Multicultural District of the Assemblies of God, charged with the responsibility of training over 240 different churches and their respective leaders in reaching the next generation, also organizing statewide camps and conventions that drew thousands of people each year. Two years later he was hired as the Youth Pastor of IEC Church in Orlando, one of the largest multicultural churches in the nation, reaching over 4,000 people on a weekly basis. There he started a weekly podcast of his sermons that today have reached over 10,000 listeners in 15 different countries. In 2014, God spoke to Pastor JJ and Pastor Liz to plant a church that would serve their community and the city of Orlando selflessly. Two years later on September 18, 2016, that vision became a reality when Journey Church held its first service in the auditorium of Winter Park High School.
Pastor JJ holds a Bachelor of Religion degree from the University of Florida, as well as a Master of Divinity from Southwestern University.
CaVar Reid is a bi-vocational minister and non-profit leader who has been called to serve the Body of Christ through administration and evangelism. Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, He came to faith in City of Faith Church of God under the leadership of his godly parents, Bishop and Sister Reid. There, he gave his life to Jesus at nine years old and was baptized in the Holy Ghost at age 12. While serving the church as a youth, it became clear he had a call and a gift for sharing the Gospel and leading teams. His heart for Christian ministry only grew as he served in local churches wherever his educational journey took him.
CaVar holds a B.A. in English and African American Studies from Wesleyan University (CT), and a Ph.D. in American Studies from The University of Michigan. While pursuing his doctorate, he joined River of Life Assembly of God (Belleville, MI), where he served as a musician and, later, as Youth Pastor, before transitioning into evangelism. The Lord has taken CaVar’s desire for spiritual and academic excellence and has given him a unique ministry. Ever invested in the next generation, CaVar serves as the Vice President for Northpoint College (Grand Rapids, MI), a Christian college developing marketplace and full-time ministers. In addition to regularly traveling to share the Gospel, he is the Prayer Director for the Michigan Ministry Network and Assistant Presbyter for Metro South Section.
CaVar enjoys being a Christian witness in the marketplace. Professionally, he has worn many hats: College Professor, Academic Advisor, and Program Director. Today, he serves as the Managing Director of High School and College Programs at Thrive Scholars, a non-profit that promotes the college access and career attainment of students from underrepresented communities. While maintaining a humble spirit, recognizing the Lord has given him this ministry by
mercy, not just by credentials or study, he endeavors to continue to live and teach in the power of the Holy Ghost, and to train others who will do the same. CaVar enjoys life with his loving wife, Dr. Crystal. Together, they are committed to serving the Lord and being an example of a godly family.
